Located of the east coast of Great Yarmouth, England. The Wind Farm consists of 30 x 2MW Vestas turbines.
SeaRoc has been providing a WebGIS solution to Scroby Sands Offshore Wind Farm since December 2014. The WebGIS enables users to view the available data through a secure, web-based portal enabling the Scroby Sands project team to visualise the site data in one central depository. Scroby Sands utilises the WebGIS to assist in the operation and maintenance of their 30 WTGs and 3 Export cables.
The setup of the database required the Geomatics Engineering team to re-engineer the available data into a unified database for display in the WebGIS. The WebGIS shows the current site layout as well as provides access to georeferenced site drawings and survey drawings. There is also the ability to download associated drawings through the information pop-up. The WebGIS portal for Scroby Sands provides access to site data, geophysical data, geotechnical data, jack up records and Ordnance Survey OpenData as background reference.
